Happy Pride Month!
This month we celebrate the importance of 'Free to be Me', due to a lifetime of discrimination, many older LGBTQ+ people age without living as their true selves.
Our consultant trainer, Sally Knocker has worked with Age UK and Opening Doors London (ODL) to produce 'Safe to be Me' which offers advice on how to support the older members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Wishing our lovely resident Joan a wonderful Birthday!

In celebration of Carers Week, we asked our families to give us some feedback on our team here at Ryefield Court and to find out if there was anyone who they felt had gone above and beyond for their loved one. We have had some incredible comments and everyone here should be extremely proud of themselves. We started off by giving each floor some chocolates as a thank you.....and there will be something special to celebrate at the end of the week...watch this space
Our chefs put together some scrummy Portuguese fare to celebrate Portuguese Day
As this week is carers week, we wanted to express our appreciation as they needed to be recognised for the love and care they showcase daily despite the challenges and hard work care entails. So during Carers Week, we're coming together to help Make Caring Visible and Valued.
We want to recognise the contribution and wanted to give back appreciation to our staff by giving them a little treat
