Madge Wang

General Manager

My name is Madge Wang. I am the General Manager at Ryefield Court. I joined Ryefield Court in February 2020. I was previously working as the registered manager in another care setting. I started my care career sin 2008 and have gathered many years’ experience in the care management field. My aim is to support the staff team and deliver the best quality care to our lovely residents. I am enjoying working here, it is a lovely company group and I have great teams to work with.

Kirsty Harragan

Deputy Manager

My name is Kirsty and I am the deputy manager here at Ryefield Court. Taking this job was one of the best decisions I have made and while it can be challenging, we have great training and a supportive team. I love caring for our residents and seeing their faces light up when we play music or look at old photos.

Mere Moceica

Head of Housekeeping

As Head of Housekeeping at Ryefield Court, my role is dynamic. Not only am I responsible for the cleanliness and the general upkeep throughout the Home, but ensuring that the residents are satisfied and happy with the provision that we can offer makes my job worthwhile. I enjoy having butterfly talks with the residents and staff and listen to their stories or concerns. Seeing them smile and feeling grateful for the little things done for them is rewarding. But with the current pandemic, my priority has shifted dramatically to ensuring that all protocols and procedures are being regularly updated and followed for the safety of all staff and residents.

Giny Morton

Hospitality Manager

My name is Giny Morton and I am the Hospitality Manager here at Ryefield Court. I have been working here since we opened in 2016. I have the best job of all here in the Bistro, which always has a lovely atmosphere. I get to care for everyone, the residents, their families and all our visitors. To be honest, it’s not like a job, it’s my home and the residents and their families have become my extended family. I have seen quite a few changes over the years and to be honest, things just keep getting better!

Priya Darr

Events Manager

I started my career working at Jarvis Hotel in Ealing Common. I worked there for 2 weeks for work experience from high school and they kept me on as weekend breakfast staff.

After I finished College I was promoted to Conference and Events supervisor where I over saw the events that were booked. I looked after events for simple conference of 10-15 people to large events of 250-300 people. I really enjoyed my role and gained a lot of knowledge working I the hotel environment and was something I missed when I moved on to work at the airport where I spent 12 years working for National Express coaches and then 5 years as a security officer.

I enjoy my job role and find it very rewarding although not as fast paced as I am used to but has other challenges that keep me going.

June Gilbert

Carer

Hello, my name is June Gilbert and have been working at Ryefield Court for 8 months. I love my job caring for people. I know I have done my job when I leave them happy and smiling. I have been caring for 40 years and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. In my spare time, I like to go walking with my 2 dogs, and play my music; I love country music. I hope this tells you a little about me.

Combining technology with care

At Berkley Care Group as a whole, we strive to be the leaders in the industry and we’re always looking for ways in which we can improve our services by using the latest tech available to our sector.

Connecting with the ones you love

Whilst we offer a whole host of sociable activities in our homes, we know how important it is to stay in touch with family and friends when visiting isn’t possible. From iPad to a virtual Zoom quiz, we are always looking at new ways our residents can stay in touch with loved ones.

Safe visiting

2020 was anything but normal, but we’ve taken on the challenges that COVID-19 has thrown at us and developed a new way for loved ones to visit. The Garden Pod is a self-cleaning room which allows residents and their families to meet behind the safety of a glass window, ensuring everyone is protected.

Improving experiences through Technology

Whether it’s electronic care planning or enjoying your smart TV with high-speed internet, if it benefits our residents then we invest in the latest mod cons.

Interacting with the wider community

Located on the outskirts of London, in the borough of Hillingdon, our home is in an excellent location for easy access to nearby amusements, including visits to the local cricket club and day trips to London.

We are proud of the many connections our home has made with the local community. This integration has opened up a variety of opportunities that our residents can get involved with; including, sports teams, social groups, religious institutions or even visits from the local nursery. Ryefield Court is truly embedded in the Hillingdon community.
